The Original sin of Adam has caused every human in existence to be born with original sin, with the exception of Jesus who was born of a virgin. From our infancy, we have a tendency to choose selfishness and our own interests over the interests of others. In essence, we are born with a sinful nature because of Adam. Proverbs 22:15 says “Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child.” There are also verses which state that we are all sinful from the time that we are born.
